Job Details
Part Time (.9 FTE – 72 hours bi‑weekly). 12‑hour night shifts (7 pm – 7 am). State‑of‑the‑art childbirth center at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Washington State RN license required (multi‑state Compact license acceptable).
- Healthcare provider BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP certifications.
- Fetal monitoring education.
- Recent or current L&D experience, including circulating C‑sections, advanced fetal monitoring, and care of high‑risk antepartum patients.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Unit Features
- Level 3 traditional L&D unit with 12 private labor, delivery, and recovery suites with bedside newborn admits.
- Dedicated antepartum rooms and services, 24/7 in‑house anesthesia and OB hospitalists, and wireless monitoring for patient mobility.
- Third operating room for scheduled C‑sections and larger labor rooms.
- Expanded OB emergency department.
- This unit delivers an average of 3,500 babies per year.
