Staff Product Manager

Staff Product ManagerSuper Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Product Manager who will be responsible for both pre and post technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Potential Candidate will be an individual contributor working closely with Engineering, Sales and Extended teams to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Promote rack system, server system, and switch productsWork with sales & customers for rack system and complete system productsBe able to engage with sales and customers to provide pre-sale technical support in networking related areasHelp manage switch, high speed cable, and transceiver inventoryProvide technical leadership in Pre-sales and oversight in implementation of such solutionsWork cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issuesQualifications:BSCS or BSEE plus 12+ years' experience in computer systems, rack systems, or networking is requiredFamiliar with server, storage, switch, and datacenter related products and servicesHave hands-on experience on Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or Mellanox switchesExperience in Windows, Linux, Networking and virtualization is preferredHave current networking knowledge in Ethernet or InfiniBand (IB)Fluent in English speaking, writing, presentationStrong organizational and communication skillsCapable of performing effectively under demanding conditions with a strong sense of ownershipThe business opportunity may require domestic and international business travel, less than 20% of the timeCCNP or CCNA is preferredSalary Range $185,000 - $211,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
