The Applications Engineer will participate in the silicon evaluation, designing evaluation boards, customer support, writing application notes and datasheet for ADI's DC-DC converters.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Silicon bench evaluationDesign and test evaluation boardsGenerate reference design reports for customersReview customers' schematics and PCB layoutsTechnical writing of datasheet and application notesSimulations and lab automationMinimum qualificationsMSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experienceFundamentals on power electronicsPCB designExperience with lab equipmentCoding experience in Python or similar scripting languagesPreferred qualificationsMSEE or equivalent with 7+ years of experienceKnowledge on DC-DC convertersRich experience with microcontroller-based systems and firmware debuggingSolid understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit designExperience with hardware debug/troubleshootingExcellent presentation and technical writing skillsSimulation tools Simplis or LTSpice or labviewProficiency in Python and / or MATLAB or similar scripting languagesAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
