This will involve close collaboration with some of the best circuit designers in the industry armed with the tools, knowledge, and technologies of the leader in power management. The job requires good understanding on power electronics and laboratory skills. Additional job responsibilities include writing circuit documentation and application notes as well as product promotion in front of customers and business development.
More specifically, the candidate needs to contribute in the following areas:Product Development Lead system, architecture and product definitionsDevelop proof of concept simulation models and correlate with bench performanceEngage with key customers on product roadmap discussionsExperimental verification of products in development to identify problems and limitationsProduct Support Generation and validate reference designs for system verification and customer applicationsDevelop design collaterals to assist customers with designs, such as datasheets, evaluation kit manuals application notes, layout guidelines and simulation modelsVerification and testing of evaluation kits, and generation of evaluation reports for customersSupport Troubleshooting of difficult or unusual technical problemsEducation & ExperienceMinimum BSEE + 4 years of experience; Preferred MSEE (or equivalent) + 5 years of experienceRequired QualificationsStrong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, control loop and architectureStrong analytical skillsPower electronics understanding – operation and control of DC-DC convertersExperience with power management for CPU/GPU/AI ASIC applicationsUnderstanding of circuit simulation and/or software development tools and techniquesHands-on experience with lab equipment (i.e. power supplies, oscilloscope, electronic-load, DAQ)Experience in debugging circuitsAbility to self-manage and meet deadlinesCan work both independently and with a cross-functional teamPreferred QualificationsClear and concise communication skillsFundamentals on IC design and architectureAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
