This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position on a night shift schedule at a medical facility in Ohio. Schedule and Location:
- Night shift: 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Thursday night to Wednesday night)
- Hours: 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Start Date: June 1
- Contract Duration: 13+ weeks
- Location: Lancaster, Ohio
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited American College of Pharmacy Education
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
- Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions
- Manage patient medication therapy to ensure safe, effective treatment
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Provide drug information to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Assist in emergency drug therapy management and medication preparation
- Oversee pharmacy technician activities to support patient and organizational needs
