Staff Pharmacist in Hayden, ID

This opportunity is for a Part-Time Retail Staff Pharmacist position located in Rathdrum, ID, on a contract-to-hire basis. The role offers a 13-week initial assignment with potential for permanent placement.
Schedule/Hours:

• 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (if working a Saturday, the pharmacist will have either Thursday or Friday off)

Team and Workflow:

• Collaborate with a team consisting of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilize the Pioneer system to handle a volume of 300 - 400 prescriptions per day

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
• Provide patient counseling, focusing on excellent customer service
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Foster a team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and service quality

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience required
• Updated resume with a skills checklist and professional references

Upon transition to a full-time role, the position includes established benefits such as paid holidays, insurance coverage (vision, dental, and medical with 50% paid after 2 months), and a 401(k) plan with a 3% match after 1 year, plus vacation pay.
