Staff Pharmacist - Hayden, Idaho

A part-time retail staff pharmacist position is available in a community pharmacy setting located in Hayden, ID, with a 13-week contract to hire opportunity in Rathdrum, ID. This role involves working primarily day shifts with a supportive team environment focused on excellent customer service and collaboration.
Schedule & Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Saturdays worked allow for a day off Thursday or Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions and ensure patient safety
• Provide thorough patient counseling and medication guidance
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Deliver exceptional customer service as part of a team-oriented atmosphere

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail environment
• Proficiency with pharmacy systems, specifically Pioneer preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced setting managing 300 to 400 prescriptions per day
• Team includes 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
