Staff Pharmacist
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide safe, effective medication management in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves acute care, clinical pharmacy, sterile compounding, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify medications according to prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Provide clinical support in ICU, ER, oncology, pediatrics, trauma, and pain management.
- Assess patients and develop appropriate pharmacotherapy plans.
- Prepare IV medications and perform sterile compounding using aseptic techniques.
- Document medications and patient information using EHR and Pharmacy Information Systems.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, medication safety, and accurate documentation.
- Support and precept pharmacy students/residents as applicable.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license.
- Hospital/acute care pharmacy experience.
- Experience in ICU, ER, trauma, or other critical-care settings.
- Strong clinical knowledge in oncology, pediatrics, critical care, or pain management.
- Experience with EHR/EMR and pharmacy systems.
- Pharmacy residency or post-residency experience preferred.
- Sterile compounding experience and multiple state licenses are a plus.
