What You'll Do
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff at long-term care facilities.
- Provide drug information and resolve medication-related questions.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and daily dispensing activities.
- Assist with IV and TPN preparation.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Active Iowa pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A dependable, team-oriented pharmacist who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
- Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required!
