Perfusion Solution Inc. is excited to announce a full‑time opening for a Staff Perfusionist in Urbana, Illinois ! As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll work alongside a supportive group of clinicians, playing a vital role in the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during surgical procedures.
• Closely monitor patient vitals and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to develop and execute optimal perfusion strategies.
• Conduct pre‑op assessments and ensure equipment readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
• Stay current with evolving perfusion technologies and techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited perfusion program.
• Either ABCP exam eligible or a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP).
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, with excellent critical‑thinking skills in high‑stakes environments.
• Experience with a wide variety of case types—including CABG, valve procedures, LVAD, heart transplants, TAVR, ECMO, and HIPEC—highly valued.
