Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LVN/LPT to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of clinical excellence. As a Staff Nurse, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients through dedicated nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to clients in inpatient settings.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations as needed.
- Assist in supervising Recovery Advocates.
- Complete chart audits.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
- Current LVN or LPT license in the state of California.
- Proven experience with substance use disorder clients preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and basic life support.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for effective documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with trauma care or mental health preferred but not required.
