The Staff Nurse essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in bothmedications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.
• Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by FamilyGuidance Center,Substance Use Prevention and Recovery,ClinicalSustainability Assessment Tooland the Drug Enforcement Administration
• Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and medication dosages.
• Monitors the physical & mental health well-being of patientsand documents findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed

Schedule: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm five days a week (days vary) Sat7:15 am to 10:15 am every other weekend

Experience and Skills:

Education and/or Experience: Two years post degreeexperience in hospital or agency setting. Individual must possessgood communication skills. General basic nursing and medicalterminology knowledge. Must have knowledge of substance abusepathology. Must have knowledge of all state and federal rules and regulations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: RN,L.P.N. registered in the State ofIllinois and certified in CPR
