What You'll Do
- Accurately assess patients’ needs using multiple data sources.
- Perform point of care testing and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Document patient responses to interventions and treatment.
- Identify and de-escalate crisis situations using verbal and non-verbal techniques.
- Modify and individualize Nursing Plan of Care and protocols.
- Participate in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Establish therapeutic alliances with patients and families.
- Administer medications safely and accurately using BMV scanning.
- Lead patient groups and promote recovery-oriented goals.
- Provide health teaching related to patient needs and document in patient records.
Requirements
- Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: 1 year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Massachusetts required
