What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for specific assignments.
- Set priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity.
- Maintain continuity through clear communication.
- Document patient care in compliance with nursing standards.
- Develop comprehensive plans of care and educational plans for patients and families.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and revise as needed.
- Provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Administer medication safely according to established policies.
- Collaborate with other disciplines and uphold the A.N.A. code of ethics.
- Participate in unit-based quality management and improvement programs.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Experience:
- 2 years prior experience in acute antenatal care and labor and delivery preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN License in Massachusetts
