You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centered and compassionate nursing care to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Plans, provides and evaluates nursing care according to patient's needs, doctor's orders and hospital policies.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure adherence to hospital and nursing standards, policies, and best practices.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
- Keeps Senior Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager / Doctor informed on patient’s condition, treatment, intervention and outcome.
- Supervise and mentor new and junior nursing staff, fostering a supportive and effective nursing team.
- Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
- Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health) preferred.
- Previous experience in acute care hospital, especially in psychiatric ward is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively and empathetically
- Patience and emotional resilience, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
- A genuine interest in mental health care and the intention to pursue this specialty with dedication and compassion
- Comfortable with performing 3-rotating shift
