What You'll Do
- Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
- Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
- Implement care consistently and thoroughly.
- Establish priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
- Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
- Provide and coordinate care for patients/patient populations.
- Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care given by team members.
- Participate in nursing research activities as requested.
- Document patient care and unit activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
Experience:
- One year recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
