What You'll Do
- Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
- Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
- Implement care consistently and thoroughly.
- Establish patient care priorities based on needs and resources.
- Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
- Demonstrate awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
- Provide and coordinate care for patient populations.
- Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by the healthcare team.
- Participate in staff development activities for unit and department personnel.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Staff Nurse
- 6 months recent experience in an acute care Adult Services unit
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License in California
- Basic Life Support certification required
