About This Role
The Staff Nurse in Ambulatory Care provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques.

What You'll Do
- Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
- Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients.
- Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team.
- Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program.
- Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen for allied nursing personnel.
- Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care.
- Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining standards of nursing practice.
- Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing practice.
- Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education.
Requirements
Experience:
- One year of post-licensure, acute experience preferred
Additional Compensation
- Annual education differential based on degree in nursing or allied health discipline
- Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications
- Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience
