Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of Android applications and shared mobile platform components
- Define modern Android architecture standards including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and modularization patterns
- Own the React Native to native Android migration strategy and technical standards
- Mentor senior engineers and lead design reviews influencing mobile, backend, and product decisions
- Establish long-term Android technical strategy for CI/CD, build optimization, and observability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline
- 8+ years software engineering experience with strong Android development expertise
- Deep proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android frameworks, Jetpack Compose preferred
- Working knowledge of React Native for migration planning and native module bridging
- Experience with mobile architecture patterns, modularization, and large-scale app development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gradle optimization, and mobile observability tools
- Proven track record of technical leadership and cross-team influence
