Staff Kids Care Infant Nursery Teacher

Summary: Join our team and make a difference in the lives of infants! Staff Kids Care offers employees of The Life Church a Christ-centered, low-cost, small classroom childcare option. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30a - 5:00p. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment for infants up to 1 year old and walking. As part of our team, you'll:

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, welcoming classroom that ensures a safe, healthy environment while maintaining order and discipline in a life-giving manner.
  • Bring daily activities to life with excitement to foster infants' physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
  • Intentionally and actively interact with infants, both individually and in groups.
  • Meet each infant's basic needs, including comforting them when they're upset and understanding the cause of their distress.
  • Ensure infants have everything they need from home, such as diapers, extra clothes, and lunch.
  • Plan and implement daily activities and prepare supplies before the infants arrive.
  • Keep classrooms well-stocked and organized.
  • Maintain a daily schedule and flow of your classroom.
  • Share updates with parents about their infant's day.
  • Adhere to all Staff Kids Care policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with the Staff Kids Care Director regarding the curriculum, classroom environment and the infants’ progress in the class.
