Supporting a phased migration of task types, the remote Staff Java Developer will focus on full-stack development, working with Java backend services and React/Node.js frontend applications while contributing to various mobile apps based on sprint priorities. Key responsibilities Build configuration management endpoints and caching layers for task type migration between mobile and web platforms Implement context query filtering and optimization against Elasticsearch Contribute to GCP migration efforts using Terraform and Kubernetes while adding resilience patterns to backend infrastructure Required qualifications Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot 3 with Gradle and REST API development Experience with Elasticsearch, including query design and performance tuning Familiarity with GCP services, including GKE and Pub/Sub, as well as Terraform and Kubernetes Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for metrics instrumentation Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
