Staff Interventional Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a Staff Interventional Radiologist to join Lenox Hill Hospital and the Goldman Pavilion in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to practice full-time interventional radiology within a rapidly growing section, featuring access to advanced interventional suites and state-of-the-art equipment. The successful candidate will provide subspecialized care, engage in resident teaching, and participate in academic opportunities through the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Practice Info

• Department of Radiology at Northwell Health, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Goldman Pavilion in New York City
• Outpatient interventional radiology center at Goldman Pavilion opening in January 2027 featuring two new state-of-the-art interventional suites focused on oncologic interventional radiology along with outpatient consult space
• Four suites currently at Lenox Hill Hospital
• System-wide division with 30 interventional radiologists
• Full-time interventional radiology practice performing a broad range of IR procedures including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, TIPS, venous access, GU interventions, GI interventions, cholangioscopy, biliary procedures, and vertebroplasty
• Tertiary care specialty hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with a 15-floor, 200,000 square foot multi-specialty medical complex anchored by the innovative programs of Northwell Health's Cancer Institute

Responsibilities

• Practice full-time interventional radiology performing a broad range of IR procedures
• Provide subspecialized interventional radiology services
• Be actively involved in the 17-resident training program
• Participate in radiology resident, fellow, and medical student teaching opportunities

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an IR Fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution
• Currently board-eligible or board certified in IR/DR
• Possess or ability to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical License
