Staff Hydrogeologist I

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater‑related data.
• Oversee soil vapor investigations.
• Analyze basic hydrogeological data using various techniques.
• Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations.
• Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources.
• Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations.
• Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Generally work in both office and field settings.
• May require frequent travel to various field sites.
• May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain.
• May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials.

Salary

US$54,000.00 – $62,000.00
