Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater‑related data.
- Oversee soil vapor investigations.
- Analyze basic hydrogeological data using various techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations.
- Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations.
- Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Generally work in both office and field settings.
- May require frequent travel to various field sites.
- May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain.
- May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials.
Salary
US$54,000.00 – $62,000.00
