We’re partnering with a fast-growing, Series B SaaS company in NYC building an AI-powered data and intelligence platform. They’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to take technical ownership of critical product features, influence architecture, and help scale the engineering organization.
Location: New York City - Hybrid, 4 days/week in office
Type: Full-time
What you’ll do
- Own complex features and systems end-to-end, from architecture through production
- Build scalable, secure and well-tested applications and infrastructure
- Drive technical strategy and high-impact architectural improvements
- Work across frontend, backend, data and infrastructure as needed
- Partner closely with product and business teams to shape the roadmap
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews and pair programming
- Improve engineering practices, performance and development processes

Frontend: TypeScript, React, Node. xhqgsiq js
Backend: Python, Django, TypeScript, Node.js, MySQL/Postgres
Data/Cloud: Snowflake, Dagster, AWS, GCP
AI/Dev Tools: Cursor, Claude Code
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years software engineering experience, at least 1 year at staff level
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or TypeScript
- Proven experience owning and shipping complex, scalable applications
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Experience using modern AI development tools
