Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech.™Vishay Siliconix, a leader in the development of power semiconductor products which improves efficiency in electronic systems for consumer, industrial, automotive, medical, and military applications, is currently seeking a Staff Foundry Yield Engineer.This position will be located in San Jose, California.As a Staff Foundry Yield Engineer you will contribute to driving best-in-class yield performance across our Mosfet division foundries in both Discrete and IC. You will be responsible for reporting (written and presentations) with technical analysis and project progress updates.Responsibilities:Drive best-in-class yield performance across MOSFETS foundries in both Discrete and IC productsDevelop world-class benchmarking capability of yield improvement, including enablement of yield dashboard for ease of benchmarkingEnsure solid transition and ramp post R&D or foundry transfer to high-volume manufacturingDrive the enablement of reduction in the foundry non-conformances with closure when non-conformances were to occurSupport yield enhancement and capacity increase activities involving new process or equipment qualificationSupport audit activities within the foundry, including internal and customer audit, when necessaryKnowledge and Experience You'll Need:Bachelor's degree or above in EngineeringMinimum 10 years related experience in semiconductor process engineering, preferably has worked in the world-class semiconductor fab or foundryExperience in process integration for both Discrete and IC based MOSFET is preferredExperience in working with R&D and foundry operationsExperience in managing SPC, control plan and FMEAExperience in collaboration with international teams and communication (spoken and written) in EnglishFundamental knowledge in semiconductor device and wafer processingFundamental knowledge in statical data analysis and control methodsSpotfire or Extensio experience is desirable (is a plus)Pay Range for California Residents: 140,000-170,000Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
