As a Partner Lab Support Engineer, you will provide onsite support for validation and qualification efforts from early samples through customer qualification. You'll translate engineering details into clear direction, keep teams aligned, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your ability to implement test plans, solve issues, and drive clarity will directly impact product success and customer trust.Responsibilities:Act as primary onsite engineering contact for key customer and enabler validation and qualification activitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships to ensure all specification, test, documentation, and sample requirements meet internal and external expectationsDrive improvements to our internal and joint validation processes to proactively mitigate customer risksSupport enabler and customer system bring-up, ensuring our products meet expectations and requirementsDrive issue resolution by leading debug and root cause analysis activities across teamsDeliver status updates, risk assessments, and technical insights through presentations, reports, and stakeholder meetingsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in DRAM product, design, validation, or related semiconductor engineering fieldsDemonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills with ability to present technical information clearlyExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing competing prioritiesAbility to relay technical information to and from enablers and customers, verbally and in writing, at a professional levelPreferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud, hyperscale, graphics, or similar high-performance computing ecosystemsExperience leveraging Agentic AI systems such as Claude and Sonnet for the development of automated testing toolsBackground in semiconductor manufacturing processes or validation workflowsExperience developing validation documentation, tracking systems, or knowledge repositoriesThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$122,000.00 - $302,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
