You will work across multiple engineering disciplines to improve performance, manufacturability, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on experimentation, solving sophisticated problems, and turning data into actionable insights.Responsibilities:Lead development of Advanced DRAM device technologies including charge storage devices and thin-film transistorsDesign and run experiments in the R&D fab to optimize process flows and integrationAnalyze inline, parametric, and probe data to identify variability, noise, and failure mechanismsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance and yield challengesApply AI-assisted tools and workflows to analyze large datasets, identify failure patterns, and accelerate root-cause determinationMinimum Qualifications:MS in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years of semiconductor industry experienceStrong understanding of semiconductor process integration and device physicsExperience with experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methodsDemonstrated ability to lead projects and work across technical teamsPreferred Qualifications:PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience with DRAM, NAND, or other memory technologiesExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesStrong background in materials science applied to semiconductor processingFamiliarity with emerging or alternative memory technologies3 years of demonstrated ability in R&D or advanced technology development environmentsMicron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
