Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use.The OpportunityIn this role you will have the opportunity to:Lead Electrical design for water/wastewater projectsProvide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in the regional design centers that are supporting project detailed designServe as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultationsSupport business development related to enhanced Electrical servicesBuild business relationships with clients to understand needs and driversAdditional Project Opportunities:Studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability AnalysisConstruction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issuesCoordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needsReview of supplier submittalsAct as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control designStartup and testing of major electrical equipmentThe ideal candidate is located in the Kansas City metro; however we may consider candidates located near any of our regional offices within the Midwest market. Check out one of our recent projects: Tomahawk Wastewater Treatment Facility ExpansionPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer's license in KS, MO, or another US jurisdiction5-8 years in electrical design, planning and construction servicesConsulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferredExperience in medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, including variable frequency drives and standby diesel generatorsUnderstanding of PLC hardware and software setup, network configuration, HMI, SCADA system, instrumentation and fiber optic cablingExperience in a client-facing/business development rolePower system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plusMinimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.

Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
