Staff DevOps Engineer

As a foundational hire within the newly formed Infrastructure Engineering team, the full-time Staff DevOps Engineer will set the technical direction for ATG's infrastructure and platform function, focusing on CI/CD standardization, cloud architecture, and developer experience while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Build and drive the 2-year Infrastructure Engineering technical strategy, defining capabilities and prioritizing platform investments across 8 marketplaces Serve as the infrastructure technical partner to development squads, attending sprint planning and architecture reviews to guide infrastructure decisions and enforce standards Contribute to the design and governance of ATG's CI/CD golden path strategy and establish observability standards across all marketplaces Required Qualifications 8+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE, with at least 3 years in a senior or staff-level capacity Proven experience owning a technical roadmap or multi-year infrastructure strategy at the team or department level Deep cloud infrastructure architecture experience, particularly with AWS, and strong IaC background using Terraform Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD platforms at scale and defining observability standards using OpenTelemetry or equivalent Exceptional written communication skills, capable of producing clear technical guidance and persuasive strategy documents
