Position: Staff Development / Infection Control Nurse (RN)

What You’ll Do

Staff Development Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical support, education, and guidance to nursing staff
• Identify training needs and help shape the future of our clinical team
• Develop and lead engaging in-service programs; track participation and completion
• Coordinate orientation and mentorship programs for all nursing staff (including EMR training)
• Maintain accurate records of all educational activities

Infection Control Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility’s Infection Control Program
• Keep infection prevention resources current and accessible
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure compliance and safety
• Prepare monthly reports with findings, corrective actions, and outcomes
• Ensure timely reporting of communicable diseases to health authorities

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New York
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Passion for education, mentorship, and quality improvement
• Knowledge of infection control standards and best practices
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities
