Owning the direction of developer experience, the full-time Staff Developer Experience Engineer will set the DX roadmap, design and manage the SDK code-generation architecture, and establish standards for developer interactions with the platform in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Define and manage the developer experience roadmap and act as the technical lead for developer-facing initiatives Design and oversee the architecture for SDK code generation, ensuring predictable library shipping and low-cost language additions Establish quality standards and observability across SDKs, and mentor engineers to enhance overall developer experience Required qualifications Proven experience in owning developer-facing tooling across multiple programming languages Strong integration of AI in development workflows, including custom tooling and automation Ability to build reusable systems that have lasting impact and adoption Understanding of SDKs and code generation as complex systems with feedback loops and boundaries Experience with production ownership, including observability and incident response for SDKs
