Staff Data Scientist

• Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains


• Ensure data quality and fitness for purpose


• Develop and apply data strategies aligned with business objectives


• Design, validate, and tune predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques


• Create data visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs


• Collaborate with UX/UI teams as required


• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations


• Deploy and monitor models in production


• Write, test, and document code supporting data science initiatives


• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions, data pipelines, and search improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics-related field; OR Master's degree in one of these fields and 2 years' experience; OR 6 years' experience in an analytics or related field


• Strong expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and statistical hypothesis testing


• Proficiency in Python


• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Plotly, or Tableau


• Experience with data strategy, data quality standards, governance, and scalable data storage solutions


• Ability to assess, validate, and tune models using relevant evaluation metrics


• Advanced analytical modeling techniques


• Knowledge of deploying and monitoring models in production environments


• Effective communication skills to present data insights and guide junior team members
