About the job Staff Counsel - Insurance Carrier
We are seeking an Insurance Defense / TrialAttorney to become a part of our in-house team!You will represent our Carrierin legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.
Candidates may work entirely remote in the Tampa Bay area.
Practice areas: 1st Party Property &Commercial Property Insurance
Responsibilities:
- Represent in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of the carrier
- Advise on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- 2-3 Years Insurance Defense Experience
- FL License
- 1st Party Property or Commercial Property
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
