OR PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.ResponsibilitiesA successful candidate will have responsibilities in one or more of the following areas:Embedded low level camera driver design and development, work throughout the firmware life cycle.End-2-end systems development, prototyping and commercialization of new camera features and technologies.Required SkillsStrong experience with C/C++ programming.Experienced with microcontroller architecture, RTOS, and/or ARM architecture.Familiarity with Android, JTAG, ADB, version control.Strong background in digital signal processing and digital image processing.Quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently.Assembly programming, embedded SW experience and understand fixed-point implementation preferred.Experience with developing and implementing image processing algorithms preferred.3-5 years related industry experience is preferred.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
