Staff Attorney

We’re seeking a motivated Staff Attorney ready to build meaningful legal experience while developing expertise in the growing field of bankruptcy law.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney, recent bar admittee, or civil/family law associate who wants more courtroom exposure, direct interaction with judges and experienced legal professionals, and a more stable schedule outside of the traditional billable-hour environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the Chapter 13 Trustee at creditor meetings and court hearings

• Handle motion practice and oral arguments

• Draft legal documents and conduct bankruptcy-related legal research

• Provide legal guidance and support to office staff and paralegals

• Work directly with judges, attorneys, creditors, and debtors

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Active California Bar license OR currently awaiting California Bar Exam results

• 0–10 years of legal experience

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management

• Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and enjoys working collaboratively
