Staff Applied Data Scientist

To serve as a technical leader and bridge between business challenges and data science solutions, the full-time Staff Applied Data Scientist will design and deploy advanced algorithmic solutions, mentor the data science team, and collaborate with customers on implementations in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end solutions by defining technical vision and best practices for data science projects Drive business impact by identifying opportunities to apply optimization and machine learning to operational planning challenges Manage and guide the data science team, providing mentorship and overseeing project planning and resource allocation Required Qualifications Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) Extensive experience applying data science to real-world operational planning or supply chain problems Prior experience managing or mentoring data scientists and driving cross-functional alignment Excellent communication skills with a track record of building trust with customers during technical implementations
