Owning the application surfaces of a live, patient-facing clinical product, the full-time Staff Application Engineer will manage the embeddable widget, clinician portal, and Python service layer while advising on full-stack architectural decisions and mentoring junior engineers in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Own the application surfaces of the clinical product end to end, including the widget, portal, and service layer Advise on full-stack architectural decisions and identify areas for improvement within the system Build and operate application work that supports AI Intake and manage internal tools used by clinicians Required qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in shipping and operating production full-stack web software, including at least 1 year at a staff level Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience in a modern server-rendered framework like Next.js Strong Python skills and experience with async web frameworks, relational schema design, and caching Experience creating versioned dependencies consumed by other teams, understanding the implications of breaking changes Fluency with LLM application development concepts to effectively collaborate with data scientists
