As a full-time Staff Android Engineer on the Cash App Consumer Platform, the successful candidate will build and own foundational Android infrastructure, lead AI-native engineering practices, and drive organizational impact through collaboration across teams, all while working in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Own and evolve foundational Android infrastructure, including modularization and dependency injection Drive Cash App's Android architecture forward and develop shared libraries and frameworks for feature teams Identify cross-cutting technical problems and mentor engineers to raise the technical ceiling within the Android community Required qualifications 10+ years of Android development experience with a proven track record of impact at an organizational level BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a strong perspective on AI's role in engineering Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify and design solutions for non-obvious problems Deep expertise in Android technologies including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and performance profiling
