A well-established organization in the Triad area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. What You’ll Be Doing
- Support day-to-day general ledger and accounting activities
- Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Research and resolve account discrepancies
- Work with accounting data across multiple systems and reporting tools
- Support inventory, costing, and other manufacturing-related accounting activities
- Assist with process improvements and help identify opportunities for greater efficiency
- Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Provide additional accounting support and analysis as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Previous Staff Accountant or comparable general accounting experience
- Manufacturing accounting experience strongly xzgxqkn preferred
- Strong systems aptitude with the ability to learn new ERP and accounting platforms quickly
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including experience working with large data sets
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Available to begin an assignment ASAP
