Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Our client is a well-established, privately held real estate company based in Great Neck, NY with a collaborative, in-office culture and a growing accounting team.

Location/RTO:

5x per week in Great Neck, NY office

Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience who’s looking to take the next step in a hands-on role. You’ll work directly under a seasoned Controller and alongside a team of 6 other accountants — ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and wants broad exposure across accounting functions.

What You’ll Do:

• Support monthly closings, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and help implement solutions
• Maintain supporting schedules and assist with audit prep
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside accounting firms
• Handle ad hoc projects from the Controller and CFO
• Work within a multi-entity environment alongside a 7-person accounting team

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A positive, team-first attitude — someone who enjoys working with others
• Public accounting experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

$60,000–$70,000 base salary, depending on experience
