The role serves as a liaison with Corporate Policy teams and supports management reporting, financial risk management (FRM), regulatory reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close process including EOC reporting and GL analysisPerform account-level variance analysis and identify unusual trendsPrepare journal entries and ensure accurate recording of transactions to the GLAssist with management reporting and ad hoc financial analyticsAssess accounting impacts of business changes and ensure GAAP compliancePerform SOX controls and support internal control over financial reportingAssist with SEC and regulatory disclosures and filingsSupport legal entity audited financial statements and annual reportsPrepare regulatory reports (e.g., broker/dealer filings where applicable)Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and financial management standardsCollaborate with Accounting Operations and Line of Business teamsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent education and training)1+ year of relevant accounting or finance experienceAbility to work independently after receiving directionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a team-oriented environmentPreferredIntermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)Financial services or specialized industry experienceExperience with Essbase or HyperionOnsite Financial Reporting Analyst supporting month-end close, GL analysis, SOX controls, and regulatory reporting in a corporate LOB environment.
