Role Description
This is a full‑time remote role for a Staff Accountant. In this position, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial statements, assisting with month‑end reporting, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additional responsibilities include contributing to audit preparation, supporting grants management, and collaborating with leadership to ensure the organization’s financial health is maintained.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Month‑End Reporting
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Audit Support, and Federal or Regulatory Reporting
- Experience in Budget Development, Grants Management, and Revenue Cycle Management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in Business Analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification preferred
- Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sectors is a plus
