Our client, a private equity-backed, multi-location healthcare services organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance and accounting team. This fully remote role will report to the Controller and support core accounting activities while helping integrate newly acquired locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process and take ownership of assigned close activities.
- Prepare account reconciliations and perform full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Assist with the accounting integration of newly acquired locations.
- Support vendor transitions associated with acquisitions.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
- Help transition manual accounting processes into the company’s ERP environment.
- Partner with the Controller and broader finance team as acquisition volume and organizational complexity increase.
- Support additional acquisition-related accounting activities as experience grows.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of accounting experience - public or corporate.
- Solid understanding of general accounting and full-cycle accounting processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Interest in process improvement and accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Comfortable learning new processes and taking on increasing levels of responsibility.
Work Setup/Location
Fully remote. The accounting and finance leadership team is geographically distributed.
