Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
