I am hiring for my client, a well-established and growing organization in the construction industry, looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team in Phoenix.
This is a newly created role due to growth and a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their accounting experience, work closely with operations, and find a company they can call home long term.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with Project Managers and operations teams on active projects
- Track project costs and maintain accurate financial information
- Process invoices and project-related expenses
- Assist with billing, collections, and supporting documentation
- Provide timely accounting information to internal teams
- Help keep projects financially organized from start to finish
What they’re looking for:
- Some accounting-related experience preferred
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Eager to learn, coachable, and dependable
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with accounting and operations
- Construction or project accounting experience is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree In finance/ accounting
- Open to recent graduates and candidates from related accounting or project support backgrounds
