Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our non-profit organization. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, along with excellent benefits and a positive work-life balance. This hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and in-office work.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and report directly to the Controller.
- Perform various accounting and bookkeeping functions, with a focus on general ledger accounts and business transactions for the parent company and its affiliated entities.
- Ensure adherence to the organization’s Accounting Policies and Procedures manual.
- Maintain a fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
