Staff AccountantWe are looking for an experienced staff accountant to join our team in Newport Beach, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of financial tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify financial data and resolve discrepancies.Oversee the full-cycle month-end close process, including journal entries and financial reporting.Conduct CAM reconciliations and ensure compliance with lease agreements.Utilize Yardi software to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.Prepare and analyze corporate tax returns and sales tax filings.Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.Collaborate with the team to manage accounting for medical office buildings and senior housing properties.
