Staff AccountantWe are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will manage various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting overall organizational objectives.Responsibilities:Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in month-end closing activities.Generate financial reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements.Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows.Support audits and provide documentation as needed.Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and company records.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
