Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on inventory accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and manufacturing-related accounting activities. This individual will work closely with the accounting team as well as plant and operations personnel, providing valuable exposure to the financial side of a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities (Staff Accountant ):
- Perform inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and support proper inventory valuation
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including prepaid inventory and accrued receipts
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, supporting schedules, and account analysis
- Partner with operations and plant personnel to research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Participate in internal audits, walkthroughs, documentation, and control testing
- Assist with fixed assets, depreciation schedules, AP/AR, and other general accounting functions
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Staff Accountant ):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1–3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience is a plus
- Understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas
