Mach Industries Staff AccountantMach Industries is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities across the organization. This role will work closely with the Corporate Controller and broader operations team to maintain accurate financial records, support internal reporting, and assist with accounting processes.This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop hands-on experience in a fast-paced defense technology environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, learning new systems quickly, and working collaboratively across departments.You will support a wide range of accounting functions including reconciliations, invoice processing, financial tracking, reporting support, and general finance operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enter financial data within QuickBooks and internal accounting systemsSupport accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding, and vendor coordinationAssist with account reconciliations, expense reporting, and transaction verificationPrepare and maintain organized financial records and supporting documentationSupport monthly and quarterly financial reporting activitiesAssist with journal entries and financial data reviews under the guidance of the Corporate ControllerTrack project costs, labor charges, and program-related financial activityGenerate reports and financial summaries for leadership and program teamsReview accounting data for discrepancies or inconsistencies and escalate issues as neededSupport budget preparation, forecasting activities, and internal financial analysisAssist with audit preparation and collection of supporting financial documentationMaintain spreadsheets, tracking systems, and finance-related administrative toolsProvide operational and administrative support to the finance organization as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1+ years of accounting experience including internships or entry-level finance rolesBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial statementsFamiliarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S.
